I run 4 to 5 mile routes or treadmills, run alone mostly , very strong legs and good lungs , just lose mind motivation sometimes. Not as consistent as I want to be. |

| Running_story |
My PR in the 2mile back in 1984 10min 25seconds, I tucked in behind the lead runner for 3 laps, then broke out in front for the next 5 laps. Started to widen the gap and fought with myself between my mind and my body, finished 2nd cause my teammate had a better kick and he came off the last turn to catch me, but it still stays as one of my better running competition memories. We both broke our highschool record that day <-- yeah slow school...
Another good memory was my PR in the 10k of 36min 36 secs. This is a good memory because it happened after high school with no coach, just training on my own. I would run 7 mile loops near my home after work, and also run 3miles out to a soccer field and run 3/4 mile fartlek loops in 20degree weather. My mind was strong and I kept my 6to7 day a week running routine. I ran the BowlingGreen, Ky. 10k at 6minute pace and placed 3rd in my age group. |
